QUANTUS SERVICES
Hardware and Software Installation
Computer installation for both hardware and software.

New equipment and software should fit the people, applications, and existing systems that depend on them. Quantus provides hardware and software installation services. Careful preparation helps avoid treating an installation as simply connecting a device or clicking through a setup wizard.
Check requirements before deployment
Operating-system support, processor and memory needs, storage, peripherals, application compatibility, and licensing should be reviewed before installation. Business applications may have specific vendor requirements. Existing equipment and internet or network dependencies can affect what is practical.
Prepare data and configuration carefully
Where a project involves replacing equipment, agree what data, settings, and applications need to move and who is responsible for backups. A backup is only useful if it can be restored when needed. Data transfer, account access, and the handling of retired equipment should not be left to assumptions.
Verify the tasks users actually perform
Testing should reflect real workflows such as opening business applications, accessing shared resources, printing, and connecting approved peripherals. Updates and security settings are part of a responsible deployment discussion. Some changes may require coordination with software vendors or the organization’s existing IT contacts.
Agree the scope and handoff
Tell us what you are installing, the systems it needs to work with, and any scheduling constraints. Installation, data migration, staff orientation, disposal, and ongoing support are different tasks; confirm which are included in the proposal. No license entitlement or data-recovery result should be assumed without review.
How we can help
- Equipment choices checked against business application needs.
- A clearer plan for accounts, configuration, and data handling.
- Workflow-focused verification after installation.
- Defined responsibilities for the transition and ongoing support.
Can you install software we already own?
Compatibility and valid licensing need to be confirmed first. Some applications also require vendor involvement, supported operating systems, or specific installation access.
Is data migration automatically included?
Not necessarily. Describe the data and settings that need to move so the scope, backup responsibilities, access, and validation can be agreed.
Should we back up before replacing equipment?
Yes. Important data should have an appropriate backup and a workable recovery plan before changes. Discuss who will make and verify the backup for your project.
