Networking and Security
Networking and security services. Contact us to discuss the scope of your requirements.

A useful network connects the right people and systems while limiting unnecessary access. Quantus offers networking and security services, with the specific scope defined around your environment. Security should be treated as layered risk reduction rather than a promise that one device or configuration can prevent every incident.
Understand the systems and access you depend on
An inventory of devices, applications, accounts, and external connections is a practical foundation. Identify which systems are business-critical and which people need administrative or remote access. Unknown equipment, unsupported software, and unclear ownership make both maintenance and security decisions harder.
Use complementary controls
Appropriate updates, multifactor authentication, least-privilege access, secure configuration, and separation of different network uses can work together to reduce exposure. Backups and recovery planning address a different need: being able to restore important operations when something goes wrong. The suitability of each control depends on the equipment and business process.
Plan changes and ongoing responsibilities
Firewall rules, wireless access, VPNs, accounts, and software support require maintenance. Agree who approves changes, reviews access, applies updates, and handles incidents. A project to improve network configuration is not automatically a managed detection service, penetration test, compliance audit, or continuous monitoring arrangement.
Discuss risk in business terms
Tell us what information and operations matter most, what controls already exist, and whether a customer, insurer, or regulator has specific requirements. Quantus can discuss an appropriate networking/security scope, but no website statement should be read as a guarantee against breaches or a certification of regulatory compliance.
How we can help
- A clearer understanding of important assets and access paths.
- Layered safeguards considered alongside everyday operations.
- Reduced reliance on a single security product or assumption.
- Defined maintenance and escalation responsibilities.
Can a firewall or antivirus product make us completely secure?
No. Security depends on people, processes, configurations, software, and ongoing maintenance. Individual products address only part of the risk.
Does this service include 24/7 security monitoring?
Not by default. Monitoring, incident response, assessments, and any response commitments must be explicitly defined and confirmed in the agreement.
Can you certify compliance with a regulation or insurance requirement?
Do not assume certification or audit authority. Share the exact requirement so scope and any need for a qualified third-party assessor can be discussed.
